Ormig 40iEh electric self-propelled crane: a well-designed world premiere

The movement of machinery within industrial plants and beyond requires increasingly higher lifting capacities and very small crane dimensions in order to have less interference within production spaces. In order to respond better to these needs, at F.LLI SANDRI we always give a lot of attention to internal research in order to be able to provide our customers with the most advanced and current technology available on the market, also implementing collaborative developments with our suppliers.

It is with great pleasure that today we would like to present to you the new arrival at F.LLI SANDRI, a world premiere, a compact electric self-propelled crane of medium-large tonnage that integrates our range of electric self-propelled cranes.

The new Ormig 40iEh, in fact, responds perfectly to the lifting needs mentioned above and thanks to the synergic and careful collaboration with our supplier Ormig S.p.A. (from Ovada in Italy) we have once again managed to receive high-performance and innovative vehicles capable of making the difference within the industrial plants of today and tomorrow.

But why is Ormig 40iEh electric self-propelled crane really so innovative?

The answer is very simple, it is its features already well tested on the higher capacity models, as explained by our technical, research and development office:

1.  the hydraulic head that allows autonomous and height adjustment; this translates into shorter set-up times and greater flexibility for both the crane and the crane operator as no auxiliary means are needed for adjustment (as happened with cranes with a mechanical head) and the oscillation of the boom-head can also occur with the weight attached (as for its "bigger sister" Ormig 100iE);
2. smaller spaces of the lifting accessories, as these are applied to the base boom-head that allows them to be hydraulically moved (even in negative) as well as a wider working radius while still maintaining high lifting capacities;
3. 360° stability with four support points on the ground in all steering conditions, which offer millimetric maneuverability and optimal lateral stability thanks to the patented Ormig mechanical and electronic control steering. In addition, self-loading extractable outriggers can also be installed in the front of the crane, in order to guarantee greater safety and capacity during lifting;
4. versatile, the modularity of the counterweights allows the crane to be easily transported and adaptable to lifting with increasing capacity tables while the radio control offers a free and safe 360-degree view;
5. human-machine interface control falling within the Industry 4.0 standards that allows us to offer our customers a completely new and innovative crane, with maximum precision and maneuverability for the work of self-propelled movement of machinery.
